About the Role
As a K-6th Grade Reading and/or Math Tutor for the 25-26 academic year, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting students’ academic growth. Whether it’s helping them master foundational math concepts or fostering a love for reading, you’ll be making a meaningful impact in their educational journey.
What You’ll Do
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
- Provide engaging and effective tutoring sessions in reading and/or math for K-6th grade students.
- Tailor your teaching approach to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel empowered to succeed.
- Collaborate with students, parents, and staff to track progress and celebrate achievements.

- Have a passion for working with children and helping them succeed academically.
- Are enthusiastic about reading, math, or both, and can share that excitement with students.
- Have strong communication skills and a patient, supportive demeanor.
