Position Summary: Are you currently working towards an Accounting/Finance degree? Would you like to learn how various roles in an Accounting/Finance Department support the sales efforts in a small/midsize HVAC Manufacturers' Representative Firm? If so, this is an opportunity to work at an HVAC Sales company and learn about the business. Duties and Responsibilities: Assists in various departments (Accounting/Finance, Office, and Sales Administration) where needed Supports preparation for Fiscal Year-end Audit Helps in various projects such as: Review of newly implemented Account Payable Automation software Drafting of Corporate Document Retention Policy Transition of Vendors to ACH payments Aids in the day-to-day duties of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Performs other related duties as assigned by management Qualifications: High School Degree Enrollment in an accredited Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) program in Accounting/Finance/Business Computer skills required: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general internet functionality required. Other skills required: Communicating effectively verbally and in writing as appropriate for the audience's needs. The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented by others, both verbally and in writing. The ability to express ideas and convey information clearly, simply, and positively, both verbally and in writing. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
