We're partnered well-established boutique government law firm recruiting an experienced civil litigation attorney to join their dynamic team. As part of the litigation team, you'll handle diverse cases across the firm's core specialties which include:

• Government Law
• Municipal Law
• Employment Law
• Real Estate Litigation
• Land Use & Zoning
• Business Litigation
• Government Contracts
• Construction Law

We are seeking an attorney with strong experience independently managing cases from inception through resolution and involvement in all stages of litigation. Core responsibilities include, drafting and responding to pleadings, motions, and discovery, conducting depositions, representing clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations, and providing strategic counsel to clients. Individuals with prior government law experience are encouraged to apply, and most litigation backgrounds will be considered.

Job Details

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of recent civil litigation experience in a law firm setting
• Strong academic credentials, J.D. from an accredited university
• Proven track record of case management from inception to close
• Exceptional organizational, written, and oral advocacy skills
• Stable employment history
• Government law experience preferred but not required

Core Job Responsibilities:

• Manage full lifecycle of complex litigation matters
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Conduct legal research and analyze case law and statutes
• Conduct depositions and witness interviews
• Lead court appearances, hearings, and mediations
• Provide strategic counsel to government and corporate clients
