Position: Cable Technician
Location: Boise, ID (5 Days Onsite)
Duration: 12+ months
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
o Assemble and arrange materials and equipment for network cabling.
o Run, pull, stop, and splice copper and fiber optic cables (e.g., CAT5, CAT6, low voltage cables).
o Mount telecom equipment while adhering to best practices, industry standards, and manufacturer requirements.
o Install access control systems and surveillance cameras.
o Assist in developing and maintaining network communications.
o Provide test equipment for testing new and suspected faulty cable connections.
o Measure and replace identified faulty fiber cables.
o Collaborate with other teams within the organization to arrange routers, hubs, and switches.
o Maintain good relations with clients by addressing their issues or escalating them as needed.
