Overview BlueHalo, an AV Company, is seeking Cloud Engineers to provide cloud software research, development, and engineering services, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, sustainment, testing, validation, and issue diagnosis/resolution. You’d Like To Do This Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements. Debug existing software and correct defects. Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards. Design and code new software and modify existing software to add new features. Integrate existing software into new systems, modified systems, and operating environments. Develop simple data queries for existing databases, proposed databases, and data repositories. Write and review software and system documentation. Design and implement complex database and data repository interfaces/queries. Develop and implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards. Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components. Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, conferring with users and system engineers; analyzing systems flow, data usage, and work processes; and investigating problem areas. Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, and improve performance. Design, develop, and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes of design. Apply concepts to develop, test, and maintain high-performance, cloud-based applications. Provide cloud technologies, techniques, and tools (e.g., containerization, orchestration, data pipelines, automation, monitoring, serverless technologies). Apply configuration management and software development best practices. Education You’re required to have this: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science) from an accredited college or university, or additional four years of cloud domain experience in lieu of degree. Master’s degree in relevant discipline may substitute for two years of experience. Experience Cloud Engineer 1 requires at least 4 years of relevant cloud experience, including: One year with Cloud Distributed File System implementation. One year with complex MapReduce analytics. One year with Cloud Distributed Coordination Frameworks. Cloud Engineer 2 requires 8 years of relevant cloud experience, including: Two years with Cloud and Distributed Computing IR. One year with Cloud Distributed File System and MapReduce analytics. One year with Cloud Distributed Coordination Frameworks. Two years with Big Data Cloud technologies. Certifications Certifications like Cloudera, CompTIA Cloud+, AWS, Azure can substitute for experience. AWS and Azure certifications may substitute for three years of experience. Clearance Active Top Secret Security Clearance with polygraph. Salary Range $144,000 to $182,000. Compensation depends on various factors including experience, education, certifications, and location. About BlueHalo BlueHalo provides specialized operational support, services, and technology for national security missions, including AI/ML tools, cyber/SIGINT missions, and blockchain analytics.
