Crisis Bed Service Coordinator | C.A.R.E. - Community Action Recovery Effort

Location: St. Johnsbury, Vermont

$2,000 Sign-On Bonus!

We’re looking for a Crisis Bed Service Coordinator to join our dynamic team in St. Johnsbury! In this leadership role, you’ll be working directly with clients in a short-term hospital diversion program that provides a safe and therapeutic environment for those in crisis. What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct care & therapeutic engagement with clients in our Care Bed program, helping them navigate mental health challenges and work toward wellness.

• Lead and support staff in the absence of the Care Bed Manager, including staff scheduling and oversight.

• Ensure a safe & supportive environment for clients, including addressing their emotional, physical, and daily living needs.

• Be a crisis intervention pro—respond quickly and appropriately when emergencies arise.

• Collaborate with an amazing team to create and implement personalized support plans for each client, making a lasting impact on their journey to recovery.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a recognized mental health field (preferred).

• Experience (preferred) in residential care or equivalent work in a mental health setting.

• Strong leadership skills, compassion, and the ability to manage and support staff in high-pressure situations.
