RSM US LLP is seeking an Epic Consulting Leader to join our Healthcare Technology Consulting Services team. This will be a Director level role at RSM with a national scope, responsible for delivery, sales, growth, and practice development for the Epic practice. The primary objective is to build and expand the practice around Epic-related services. The Epic Consulting Director will leverage their technical expertise in Healthcare IT, focusing on Epic implementations, advisory, leadership skills, and service mindset. Responsibilities include creating a market-focused strategy and executing proactive sales activities. They will support service delivery, growth of new business, and pipeline development around Epic Services and related areas. A deep understanding of market dynamics and competition is essential for developing effective sales strategies and applying solution expertise. The successful candidate will have experience delivering technology-driven EHR implementations, optimization, and overseeing outsourced or co-sourced engagements with hospitals and health systems. Key qualifications include 8+ years of experience in Epic consulting and/or implementation services. As an Epic Healthcare Consulting Director, you will need to: Use your technical and industry knowledge to become a trusted advisor to clients Manage multiple client projects, lead proposal efforts, and internal initiatives Recruit and retain talented Epic consultants Build a network of internal and external relationships to sustain business growth Oversee a healthcare IT portfolio focused on Epic EHR implementations, optimization, advisory, change management, and engagement risk Design and deliver innovative service offerings Focus on sales and growth by developing leads and closing deals for optimization and implementation projects Lead pipeline growth activities and leverage resources for client acquisition Support the development of an Epic practice supporting clients implementing or optimizing Epic solutions Lead sales and proposal efforts for Epic opportunities Collaborate with colleagues on new business development to expand market presence and revenue Build strong relationships with market leaders and potential clients, understanding their needs Manage, motivate, and mentor multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions Leverage your network and personal brand to drive growth and secure new opportunities Model RSM values: respect, integrity, teamwork, excellence, and stewardship Professional Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in business, computer science, informatics, public health, or related healthcare field 12+ years of healthcare executive experience 8+ years of relevant Epic implementation and optimization experience Experience in consulting Strong business acumen, especially in EHR management within healthcare IT Knowledge of hospital and clinical workflows Revenue Cycle experience Proven success in business development and market activities Ability to build and lead a consulting team Team-oriented mindset Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging senior management Willingness to travel approximately 60-75% Preferred Qualifications: Active Epic certifications We offer a competitive benefits and compensation package, flexible scheduling, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
