Job Title: Equipment Operator
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator responsible for operating skid steers and excavators, as well as transporting machinery to various job sites. The role involves gravel, dirt work, asphalt preparation, and excavation in both residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Operate skid steers and excavators efficiently.
• Transport machinery to job sites.
• Perform gravel and dirt work, asphalt preparation, and excavation.
• Engage in various projects including residential and commercial sites.

Essential Skills

• Concrete handling and construction expertise.
• Proficiency in operating motor graders.
• Possession of a Class A CDL with a valid medical card.
• At least 3 years of experience operating skid steers.
• Knowledge of dirt work, heavy equipment, paving, roller operations, general labor, and quality control.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with motor graders.

Work Environment

Engage in diverse projects ranging from filling potholes to constructing full-fledged parking lots. Most tasks involve rehabilitation work such as asphalt curbing, patching, and driveways, with 90% of projects being commercial. Typically, you will work on 3-6 projects per day, offering variety and challenge in your daily tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
