Primary Objective

Reporting to the Deputy Provost, the Exec Director-Academic Affairs provides managerial direction and leadership in areas including:

• Maintaining institutional and specialized accreditation.
• Ensuring effective coordination of compliance and assessment activities across the District.
• Managing the CCCs Tenure Assistance Program (TAP).
• Overseeing the system bookstore.
• Supervising faculty processes and compliance.

Essential Duties

Responsibilities include overseeing professional development efforts, monitoring the tenure process, leading accreditation efforts, supporting assessment initiatives, faculty development, process improvement, and ensuring compliance with academic standards.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree from an accredited institution.
• Seven years of experience in higher education, including teaching or administration.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards, assessment, and compliance.
• Strong project management and research skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and experience with accreditation/assessment systems.

Additional Information

Salary range: $104,775 - $119,300. Benefits include health, retirement plans, and paid time off. Chicago residency required within 6 months of hire.
