About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Foundation, a pivotal role that demands a strategic leader with a proven track record in fundraising and advancement. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and meeting ambitious fundraising goals, developing and leading comprehensive fundraising strategies, and ensuring that philanthropic initiatives align with the institution's mission and strategic plan. This includes fostering student success, innovation, and equity. The Executive Director will also serve as the primary liaison to the Foundation's Board, providing leadership in strategic planning, fundraising, and governance activities. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company's Foundation should be deeply committed to the values of educational access and student success. The role requires a candidate with at least 5 years' of experience in fundraising, particularly in securing and stewarding major gifts, and a strong background in leading and managing a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and inspiring leader, with exceptional communication skills and a donor-centered approach to relationship building. Responsibilities also include organizational management, fiscal oversight, and active participation in the college and community to promote a culture of philanthropy and engagement. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for a CFRE certification or advanced degree, and proficiency in donor database systems and fundraising software.
