We are seeking a skilled detail-oriented Locksmith to join our team. The ideal Candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of locks for residential and commercial. This role requires a strong understanding of lock mechanisms, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This opening is an ideal opportunity if you are the right individual, have a clean driving record, a clean criminal background, and have a positive can do attitude. As part of the job, technicians will work on residential and commercial locks and hardware, as well as safes and safe moves.

It is required that the applicant have previous locksmith experience.

Here are the Job Requirements

• *Have a "can do" attitude
• *Complete the mechanical aptitude test with a firm understanding
• *Pass a full criminal background test
• *Be consistently dependable and on time
• *Be able to work weekends & after hours on a rotating on call basis
• *Clean driving record for 3 years, no DUI's and a valid GA drivers license
• *Be willing to submit to, and pass random drug tests

Duties

• *Install, repair, and replace locks for residential, and commercial clients.
• *Respond to emergency lockout situations promptly and efficiently
• *Use specialized tools and equipment to diagnose issues with locks.
• *Provide clients with advice on security measures and recommend appropriate products based on their needs.
• *Maintain accurate records of services performed and inventory of locks and tools used.
• *Stay updated on the latest locksmithing techniques, tools, and technologies.
• *Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations regarding locksmith services, as well as extensive background check.

Skills

• *Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand complex lock mechanisms.
• *Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• *Good communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
• *Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• *Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting or standing for extended periods.
• *Counter and cash handling skills, scheduling and phone etiquette.

Education

• *High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• License/Certification:
• Drivers License (Required)
