Description:
Our client has multiple projects in the transportation space. TEKsystems needs the bandwidth to support multiple high profile ITS/ATMS projects while delivering in the ISP space as well. This exciting long term opportunity offers room for growth, and continued training to expand skillset.
Day to Day and Hours:
This position is MONDAY - FRIDAY from 6:30am - 2:30pm. They will sit in a team meeting that involves the scope of the project and what they are looking to complete at the specific project. Technician's will first meet at the office in the morning, and after the meeting the installer will then head to the sites in the company van/truck with other team members. The Technicians will be working with other full time team members in outside plant environments.

Top Skills:
Targeting at least 1-2 plus years in the follow:
1) Experience with installation of OSP/ISP copper, fiber, and coax cable
2) Low Voltage experience: working with Cat 5 and Cat 6
3) Commercial install background or outside plant work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must be able to take feedback and training. Ability to follow instructions and take coaching from peers, colleagues, etc.
Must be comfortable working outside from time to time.
