Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team in California. This role is integral to the financial operations of the company and requires an individual who is detail-oriented and proficient in managing comprehensive bookkeeping tasks.

Responsibilities

• Handle payroll for 50-70 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) efficiently.
• Perform regular reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and record journal entries as part of the financial process.
• Assist with other accounting tasks as needed to support the finance team.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bookkeeping role, preferably with full charge responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing and associated regulations.
• Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
• Experience with reconciliations and journal entry preparation.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and external partners.

Required Work Hours

The Full Charge Bookkeeper position requires standard business hours, Monday through Friday. Specific work hours will be discussed during the interview process.

Additional Details

The pay range for this position is $30.00 to $32.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
