What We’re Building

FundOS is the next major product from Fund Launch—a platform designed to become the operating system for modern fund creation.

Today, launching an investment fund is fragmented and overwhelming—legal teams, scattered pitch templates, disconnected workflows, and dozens of tools. FundOS changes that. We’re building a single intelligent platform that helps users go from idea to investable—powered by embedded AI, structured workflows, and real execution tools.

This isn’t an ML research role. You’ll be designing and implementing intelligent systems that:

• Guide users through complex fund strategy decisions
• Generate investor-ready decks, legal docs, and capital workflows
• Simulate LP (limited partner) conversations and objections
• Adapt in real-time to user data using structured prompts, retrieval, and function calling

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and ship AI-powered workflows using OpenAI, Claude, or open-source models (e.g. Mixtral)
• Design modular, reusable prompts that evolve with user data and product state
• Build role-based assistants (e.g., fund strategy coach, legal drafting assistant, pitch simulator)
• Use LangChain or custom orchestration to manage memory, context injection, RAG, and function calls
• Collaborate with product and design to translate prompts into UX features and actions
• Optionally explore open-source model hosting or lightweight fine-tuning

You’re a Great Fit If You...

• Have built real, production-level applications using GPT, Claude, or similar LLMs
• Can design and manage structured prompt systems, chaining, and context-aware workflows
• Understand how to inject structured data (e.g., from Supabase) into dynamic AI flows
• Think in user journeys and execution flows—not just completions
• Want to build something with real-world leverage and lasting impact
• Bonus: experience in B2B SaaS, legal tech, or fintech
• Extra bonus: experience with vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone), LoRA/QLoRA fine-tuning, or Mistral APIs

What you'll need to thrive in this role:

• LLM Integration Experience : Hands-on experience with GPT-4, GPT-3.5, Claude, or similar. You’ve built prompt-driven features in production, not just playground demos.
• Prompt System Design : Strong understanding of prompt chaining, structured prompt injection, token optimization, and function calling. You know how to use AI to move a product forward—not just generate text.
• LangChain or Similar Frameworks : Experience with orchestration tools to manage multi-step logic, tools, and memory in AI workflows.
• Backend Skills : Comfortable working in Node.js or Python to build and connect backend APIs, pass user data into prompt systems, and handle LLM outputs. Bonus if you’ve used Supabase, pgvector, or similar tools.
• RAG & Context Handling : Familiar with retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, and injecting relevant knowledge into prompt contexts in real-time.
• UX-Aware Thinking : You understand how AI shows up in real products. You think beyond the chat window—whether it’s powering deck generation, legal logic, or structured output tools.
• Reliability Mindset : You know how to enforce formatting, reduce hallucinations, and make AI safe to use in legal/financial settings.
• Product-Driven Perspective : You build systems that solve outcomes (“Make this pitch-ready”), not just functions (“Return a paragraph”).
