Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic Community Bilingual Wellness Specialist to oversee and implement health and wellness activities within our Wellness Center. The ideal candidate will coordinate wellness initiatives, engage with patients and community members, and serve as a bridge between healthcare providers and wellness program participants. This role is perfect for someone passionate about improving community health through education, engagement, and activity.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead daily wellness activities, classes, and community events.
• Serve as point of contact for patients and community partners engaging with the Wellness Center.
• Educate participants on wellness services, program benefits, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Coordinate transportation logistics for participants as needed.
• Support the planning and execution of larger health outreach events.
• Monitor inventory levels of wellness supplies and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of program participation and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred.
• At least 2+ years experience in a wellness, health promotion, or community outreach role.
• Background in healthcare, fitness, or public health is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Certifications (not required, but a plus):

• CPR/BLS Certification
• First Aid Certification
• SilverSneakers or similar senior fitness program certification
• Health Coaching or Personal Training certification
