S&L Prime HVAC is a trusted provider of high-quality heating and cooling solutions across Baltimore County and surrounding areas. As a growing company built on integrity, craftsmanship, and excellent service, we’re looking for a skilled and motivated Install Manager to lead our installation department and help take operations to the next level.
Responsibilities
The Install Manager will oversee all aspects of the installation department, managing approximately 5 install crews (with room to grow), ensuring jobs are completed to standard, on time, and with high customer satisfaction. This is a leadership role that requires coordination between field and office staff, a deep understanding of HVAC installation practices, and a proactive mindset to improve processes and training.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage HVAC install crews; schedule jobs and assign teams accordingly
· Serve as a bridge between the field and office - ensuring alignment on job timelines, materials, and updates
· Conduct jobsite inspections to ensure quality, code compliance, and customer satisfaction
· Implement and enforce company installation processes and procedures
· Train and mentor crew leads and junior installers to improve performance and efficiency
· Report regularly to ownership/management on job status, crew performance, and customer feedback
· Support warranty claims, callbacks, and installation troubleshooting when necessary
· Maintain strong communication and collaboration across departments (service, admin, sales, etc.)
Qualifications
Required:
· Prior experience as a lead HVAC installer
· Proven leadership, scheduling, and organizational skills
· Strong understanding of HVAC systems, tools, and code requirements
· Ability to inspect, evaluate, and coach for quality and efficiency
· EPA Certification
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred :
· Previous experience as an Install Manager
· Familiarity with CRM and dispatching software
· Experience working with HouseCall Pro, Sales Builder Pro, and Microsoft Outlook/Office 365
Schedule & Compensation
· Type: Full-time, salaried position
· Typical Hours: Varies between 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM, depending on workload. Weekend work as needed.
