Job Description:

Creature is seeking skilled Journeyman Electricians who are passionate about their craft and eager to grow within a forward-thinking, high-performance team. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in delivering excellent work, are adaptable to a fast-paced environment, and are willing to travel extensively for projects. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will play a critical role in executing commercial installations, mentoring apprentices, and upholding safety and quality standards on job sites across the country.

This is a traveling position, requiring frequent trips to job sites in various locations. Per diem payments and travel accommodations will be provided.

You must be a thoughtful doer that can critically look at the requirements and execute the work at a high rate. This role is great for someone who is ready to put the work belt on and lead themselves as they work as a player on an incredible team. You must be a team player and willing to step into hard situations.

Role Expectations:

• Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on commercial and industrial projects in accordance with local and national codes
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Lead and mentor Electrical Apprentices, sharing knowledge and ensuring work aligns with company and industry standards
• Work within Creatures systems and processes to maintain consistency, safety, and quality across all projects
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and components, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions
• Collaborate with project managers, field supervisors, and other trades to ensure project timelines and goals are met
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, and ensure proper care and use of tools and materials
• Travel frequently to project sites in various cities and states
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, accountability, and leadership on the job
  

Qualification:

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License
• Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial electrical work
• Proficiency in reading electrical drawings and specifications
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently
• Familiarity with NEC, OSHA standards, and jobsite safety protocols
• Ability to supervise and coach apprentices while maintaining productivity
• Physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and working in various site conditions
• Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
• Willingness to travel frequently and stay on-site for extended periods
