We are looking for a Jr. Systems Administrator/ Help Desk Analyst III to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on a contract-to-permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting computer systems, networks, and user accounts to ensure seamless operations. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our organization's transport services by resolving technical issues, managing hardware and software configurations, and ensuring system security.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.

• Perform repairs and replacements of damaged computer and network components as needed.

• Implement and enforce security measures to protect end-user systems and data.

• Create, maintain, and update technical documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility.

• Test new hardware and software prior to deployment to ensure compatibility and reliability.

• Manage and track inventory of IT equipment and tools.

• Provide support during outages and respond to urgent needs, including outside regular working hours.

• Handle user account management and oversee permissions and access controls.

• Collaborate with vendors to determine warranty or repair options for faulty equipment.

• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues for various devices and coordinate efforts with the networking team.

• Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent certifications.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in entry-level systems administration or similar roles.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and configuring Cisco technologies, Microsoft systems, and Active Directory.
• Experience with computer hardware maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with basic network troubleshooting and MDM technologies.
• Strong skills in user account management and Google Workspace.
• Ability to provide off-hour support when necessary.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
