A GLOBAL freight forwarding company in the Wood Dale, IL area is searching for Logistics Sales Representative to support their sales team. The ideal candidate will have at lease 3 years experience with business development as well as experience/ knowledge of freight forwarding operations.

Logistics Sales Representative Responsibilities Include:

• Make appointments with new clients and travel to the locations to develop new business
• Communicate with both existing and new clients to resolve their issues and develop solutions
• Understand specification of service, present to customers, and negotiate prices
• Communicate with clients regarding satisfaction, documentation, and compliance
• Other Duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.

Logistics Sales Representative Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or professional certification, or equivalent experience
• at least 3 yeasr of experience with freight forwarding company
• Excellent communication skills. Must be able to meet new customers and build relationships
• Must be able to communicate fluently in both written and verbal English
• Must be able to travel
• Must have valid driver’s licensnce
• While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
