KPMG is seeking a Manager, Cloud Monitoring and Compliance Engineer to join our Global Technology & Knowledge Group, part of KPMG International.

Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze requests related to Microsoft Defender for Cloud (MDC) alerts concerning Cloud Workload Protection (CWP) and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) from internal clients.
  2. Customize and enhance CSPM and CWP cloud features to meet KPMG's specific requirements.
  3. Plan and implement automated remediation activities.
  4. Collaborate with vendors to maximize investment into their products and influence future roadmaps.
  5. Onboard additional tenants and cloud hosting providers to the service.

Qualifications:

  • At least five years of recent experience in information technology, with a minimum of two years working with a major cloud service provider.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience; a degree in computer science or related field is preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Cloud Security Posture Management technologies, such as Microsoft MDC, Twistlock, Redlock.
  • Experience in securing cloud environments, including certification and compliance topics.
  • Understanding of API-based security, compliance standards, exploits, malware, ransomware, detection methods, and web application architecture. Experience with building complex custom RQL, KQL, or SQL queries.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP security features and services; programming skills in Python or PowerShell.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. KPMG does not sponsor work visas for this role.
