THERMAL or FIRE PROTECTION ENGINEER

As part of our expanding Global Engineering and Scientific consulting team, you will work at the forefront of today's most complex engineering challenges. You will analyze failures of products across various industries including automotive, construction, consumer products, electronics, and medical devices. This Managing Director role encompasses client management, business development, and networking activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Attracting and securing new business opportunities in expert witness and strategic consulting
• Growing Secretariat’s Thermal practice by recruiting talented staff
• Mentoring and developing the Thermal team
• Providing project management and overseeing project budgets

REQUIREMENTS

• PhD or MS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Fire Protection Engineering plus 2 years of relevant experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong report writing skills to complement analytical work
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent listening, technical, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Leadership desire and ability to support a growing practice within a dynamic firm
