The Opportunity

Brightwood\nAnimal Hospital in Mentor, Ohio  seeks a Managing\nVeterinarian (or someone that would like to work into a leadership role)  to\njoin our fun, hardworking, compassionate team as we continue to grow! Serving\nan affluent demographic area our progressive, small animal practice stresses\ncomprehensive and compassionate medicine and surgery in a spacious and\nwell-equipped facility. Brightwood Animal Hospital has provided\nhigh-quality veterinary care and grooming services to the local community for\nover 35 years.

We support local\nrescues such as the Humane Society, Rescue Village, Lake County Dog\nShelter and Ashtabula County Dog Shelter by providing free first exams to\nadopted pets. It is important we give back to the community and assist in\nproviding medical services for animals in need. 

As\nthe Medical Director at Brightwood Animal Hospital, you'll keep doing what you\nlove - practicing veterinary medicine and seeing the furry faces that make your\nday. But you'll also provide vital medical leadership, oversee the veterinary\nteam, ensure we follow all the rules, and cultivate an environment where\nexceptional pet care thrives. You'll develop medical protocols, mentor\ncolleagues, and collaborate with the practice manager on finances, budgeting,\nand operational optimization.
