Location: Portland, OR (moving to Lake Oswego in July 2025)

Pay Scale: $23-30 depending on experience and employment longevity

MyTeam Medical Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant/Scribe for placement with a progressive surgical specialty clinic. Medical Assistant/Scribe will be a graduate of an accredited MA program or possess a minimum of 1-year current physician office or clinic experience. Entry Level Medical Assistant with have an outstanding extern evaluation and a minimum 3.0 GPA. This is an exciting opportunity for a versatile and motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic, patient-centered environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a Graduate of an accredited MA program and a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• AHA, or equivalent, current CPR
• Keyboarding skills of 50 wpm minimum
• Available references or verifiable letters of recommendation

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely alongside a designated provider, assisting with both clinical tasks and real-time scribing during patient encounters.

• Provide seamless clinical support while capturing accurate and thorough documentation of the provider’s interactions and instructions.

• Float between clinical and scribe responsibilities as needed to ensure optimal workflow and patient care.

Ideal Candidate:

• A Medical Assistant with strong scribing experience or aptitude.

• Dependable, punctual, and committed to excellence in patient care.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Shares the clinic’s forward-thinking approach and desire for continuous improvement.

JOB DUTIES:

• Chart documentation into a new EMR system, ModMed EHR
• Room patients, check voicemails and work in tandem with provider scribing
• Enter orders into the EMR as instructed by the provider, enter prescriptions as directed by the provider
• Assist the provider with exam and or procedures and schedule follow up appointments
• Other duties as assigned
