We're Urgently Hiring for Patient Registrar for our client with a leading hospital in New York, NY.

Title: Patient Registrar

Location: New York, NY, 10065

Shift: 8:30 AM-5:00 PM

Duration: 13-Weeks Contract

Pay Range: $20 to $23 per hour

Job Description:

• Register patients accurately and efficiently, verifying insurance and personal information.
• Manage incoming calls, address patient inquiries, and handle phone messages professionally.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and data accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, data entry, and document management.

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of clerical experience, with proficiency in data entry (4500 keystrokes per hour).
• Knowledge of health insurance benefits, medical coding (ICD-9, CPT-4), and experience with insurance verification, eligibility, and prior authorizations preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish
