Job Description The Product Owner I ensures that a development team creates value through delivering customer-focused product increments. Responsibilities include aligning with other Product Owners and management to follow a product vision, maintaining a prioritized backlog, managing blockers, and assessing customer feedback. The role emphasizes maximizing value, continuous improvement, and embodying Agile principles of transparency, collaboration, and engagement. Depth & Scope Expert role requiring substantial knowledge in a complex field Accountable for product development support based on Agile/Scrum practices Integrates knowledge of enterprise strategy across functions Recommends improvements based on business challenges and industry trends Leads complex projects and cross-functional understanding Solves complex problems and leads solution development Uses analytical skills to exercise judgment and identify solutions Impacts sub-function or business objectives Communicates complex concepts effectively and influences stakeholders Works autonomously, guiding others within expertise Education & Experience Undergraduate degree and/or product certification 7+ years relevant experience 3-5 years Product Owner or Agile delivery experience Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) preferred; project management experience a plus Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certifications or experience is an asset Customer & Shareholder Accountabilities Partners with management to support product vision, maintains backlog, aligns delivery roadmap, reviews analytics, participates in Agile events, engages stakeholders, manages risks, and communicates effectively across teams. Employee/Team Responsibilities Participates actively in the team, supports development, mentors others, and fosters a positive, diverse work environment.
