Our client a Global Liquor brand is looking for a dynamic and creative PR Manager, based in New York City, reporting to the Global Director, Marketing and Communications. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative, is passionate about the spirits category and will have a keen understanding of how PR and earned media can drive market success.
This role requires an individual who can seamlessly integrate PR within broader marketing campaigns, cultivating relationships with media in the U.S. and working in tandem with media relations counterparts globally to support the company’s brands and its visionary CEO.
Work with marketing leadership to create and execute annual, brand-focused media relations strategies and tactical execution plans aimed at increasing brand awareness, product trial and revenue for brand across the company portfolio
Build and nurture relationships with journalists, bloggers and podcasters to proactively seek opportunities for media coverage
Create and distribute high-quality press materials, including press releases, executive briefing documents, FAQs and key message documents
Identify, build, and manage relationships with key influencers to develop engaging and authentic content that resonates with target audiences and enhances brand identity; leverage these relationships to amplify brand presence across media and digital platforms • Collaborate with and provide support to global PR managers as needed, ensuring consistent messaging and maximizing impact across markets
Track, measure and analyze the effectiveness of media coverage, provide clear reporting on the impact of outreach efforts on brand performance and adjust campaigns as directed • Ensure consistent communication between marketing, sales, and other internal stakeholders to maximize the reach of PR campaigns and regularly communicate results of outreach efforts • Activate the brand at high-profile events and identify opportunities to boost brand visibility • Identify and secure opportunities for strategic brand collaborations and partnerships within the US
Qualifications & Experience • 5+ years’ experience and proven results in PR, with a substantial focus on spirits • Track record of developing and executing integrated campaigns, leveraging PR, social media and influencer engagement to achieve brand objectives • Proven expertise in executive communications and personal branding, with the ability to craft compelling narratives Skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet competing deadlines efficiently and effectively • Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Entrepreneurial spirit, ambition, and business acumen.
This is a hybrid position, with three required in-office days and two remote working days per week.
