A financial services group in north Austin is looking for a Recruiter to join their team! This is a contract to hire role, looking for someone to start ASAP. This is a fully onsite position M-F and pay is starting at roughly $25-35+/hr depending on experience. Candidates must have experience recruiting for Banking, Credit Union, or Financial Services industries to be considered.
Responsibilities:
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: job posting, sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and extending offers.
Partner with hiring managers to understand department needs and develop effective hiring strategies.
Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and local community outreach.
Maintain compliance with internal procedures and federal/state employment regulations.
Support onboarding coordination and provide a seamless candidate experience.
Track recruiting metrics and provide weekly updates to leadership.
Requirements:
2+ years of recruiting experience, within credit unions, community banks, or financial services .
Demonstrated ability to recruit for a wide range of roles, from entry-level to management.
Knowledge of FCRA, EEO, and other employment regulations.
Strong interpersonal skills, sense of urgency, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with ATS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with credit union culture, terminology, and member service principles strongly preferred.
