Job Description

The Recycling Coordinator performs duties to support facilities ISO initiatives. Responsibilities include practicing safe work habits in compliance with OSHA regulations, working in a team environment, protecting company assets, assisting EHS Manager and Coordinator in planning and organizing, removing and properly disposing of cardboard, keeping grounds clear of trash and debris, bailing/compacting recyclable materials, running the aerosol can puncture program, organizing totes, assisting in department auditing and identifying recyclable materials, general building and ground maintenance including painting and repairs, and supporting ISO 14001 initiatives. The role requires attending ISO committee meetings and performing other duties as assigned by EHS Manager/Coordinator. Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, versatility to transfer between departments, clear communication, self-motivation, forklift certification preferred or to be obtained within 30 days, and a valid driving license with a good record. Physical demands include the ability to walk, climb, and lift at least 50 pounds.
