Your Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process, adhering to the highest standards of practice.
• Administer medications, collect specimens, and perform clinical treatments.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.
• Monitor and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, and families.
• Assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Evaluate and educate patients and families based on their unique needs.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of your patients.
• Participate in staff meetings and adhere to all policies and procedures.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Associate's degree in Nursing.
• Required Skills: Strong critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• License: Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in Tennessee or a Compact State RN with Tennessee paperwork filed within 30 days of hire.

Working Conditions

This role may require you to:

• Work scheduled shifts, including overtime as needed.
• Accept call schedules as directed.
• Maintain a professional appearance in compliance with dress code standards.
• Be aware of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
