Your Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care using the nursing process. Your responsibilities will include:

• Patient Care: Deliver compassionate care while performing medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Documentation: Accurately document all patient care activities.
• Monitoring: Keep a close eye on patient conditions and communicate effectively with the care team, physicians, and families.
• Daily Living Support: Assist patients with personal hygiene, nutrition, and mobility.
• Collaboration: Work across disciplines to ensure seamless patient care, including transfers and discharges.
• Education: Assess and address the learning needs of patients and families.
• Advocacy: Champion the physical and emotional well-being of your patients.
• Flexibility: Be ready to take on additional duties as assigned, including those of CNA, MA, or LPN when necessary.

Working Conditions

You will be expected to:

• Work scheduled shifts, including overtime as needed.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain a professional appearance in line with our dress code.
• Comply with all health and safety standards.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

• Education: Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Skills: Strong critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Licenses: Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in Tennessee or a Compact State with appropriate Tennessee paperwork filed within 30 days of hire.
