Managing Business Consultant SAP Ariba
Remote with occasional travel during milestones
Overview:
Client is seeking a seasoned SAP Ariba Lead Consultant to support the transformation of the current GEP with SAP ECC solution to SAP Ariba integrated with SAP S/4HANA. The consultant will lead design, implementation, and deployment of Ariba modules and guide the transition through all phases including testing, cutover, and post-go-live.
Responsibilities:
Lead AS-IS/TO-BE workshops to map processes from GEP Procurement to SAP Ariba B&I and Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration (Business Network).
Design and implement SAP Ariba modules: Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Management, Contract Management, Procurement, Guided Buying, Spend Management.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align procurement and supply chain collaboration needs with Ariba capabilities.
Serve as SME for SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA integration.
Ensure smooth configuration, testing, and cutover activities.
Analyze and optimize business processes per SAP standard practices.
Align SAP systems with procurement operations and reporting needs.
Develop and execute test plans (SIT, UAT, regression).
Conduct training for end users on Ariba functionality and integration with S/4HANA.
Provide ongoing Ariba support and troubleshooting.
Ensure accurate data flow between Ariba and SAP S/4HANA; support data migration (ETL).
Develop reports and dashboards using SAP tools and embedded analytics.
Engage regularly with key business and IT stakeholders, providing updates, addressing concerns, and validating requirements.
Requirements:
Extensive experience in SAP Ariba implementation and integration with SAP S/4HANA.
Strong expertise in process mapping from GEP to SAP Ariba B&I and Business Network.
Hands-on knowledge of Ariba modules: Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Management, Contract Management, Procurement, Guided Buying, Spend Management.
Proven ability to lead workshops, drive project timelines, and manage end-to-end delivery.
Experience in data migration, system integration, and SAP reporting/analytics.
Strong communication skills with the ability to train users and manage stakeholders.
