Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Proficient in keyboarding, email, Microsoft Office and use of internet.
2. Ability to use computer based applications for record keeping.
3. Working knowledge of basic office procedures and operation of office equipment (computer, fax, copier)
4. Previous experience working in an office.
5. High School diploma.
6. Successful screening through the district Human Resource employment process.

REPORTS TO:
Principal through the Assistant Principal

JOB GOAL:


To contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the school office.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Able to organize, proofread, and type correspondence, reports, and other written communications accurately.

1. Maintain student attendance records and all related correspondence via Realtime.
2. Assist with transfers and updating student information.
3. Assist in preparation and filing of requisitions for supplies.
4. Assist with Free and Reduced Lunch program.
5. Assist with student transfers and registrations.
6. Collect and record all incoming papers and various materials.
7. Answer phones/intercom in a friendly and helpful manner.
8. Assist Principal and Assistant Principal as needed.

COMPENSATION:
As per GTSPA Contract

($24,011 - $34,019 per year. Final compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.)

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 10 Months

VACATION:
There is no vacation time allotted to this position.

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy of Evaluation of Personnel. Gloucester Township School District
