As a Security Professional - Government Site Patrol in Soquel, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine inspections and monitoring throughout the assigned area, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. This position requires driving as part of your duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as directed by site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
