As Shipper I, you will be responsible for shipping, receiving, and stocking finished goods needed to fulfill customer orders. This shift is eligible for a $0.75 shift differential. Duties include completing shipments using ERP system and/or tablet, pulling, packaging, and palletizing products for shipment, ensuring incoming and outgoing shipments meet packaging, customer, and quality standards, receiving, stocking, and rotating product, identifying, tagging, storing and locating finished inventory (70% of time). Creating and applying documents such as shipping labels, packing lists, and bills of lading for each pallet/shipment (10%). Maintaining a clean work environment (10%). Other duties as assigned (10%). Requirements include High School Diploma or GED equivalent, Simpson Strong-Tie Powered Industrial Truck Certification (will certify at hire), D.O.T. HazMat Training (will certify at hire), 1 year of warehouse, logistics, and/or shipping experience, ability to operate forklift and reach truck, prioritize safety, mathematical reasoning, ability to work independently, reliable attendance, communication skills, quality standards knowledge, problem solving, teamwork, results focus & initiative, customer service skills, and reading comprehension. Physical requirements include ability to stand, walk, see, talk, hear, occasionally sit, operate large equipment, and lift/carry/push/pull materials up to 50 pounds. Work environment involves moving mechanical parts, loud noise, and possible exposure to dust, heat, cold, wet or humid conditions. No travel required. Full-time, non-exempt position located in Riverside, CA. Relocation not available.
