We are seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to mission planning software development, integration, and testing efforts. Your work will directly support the fielding of a weapon system that is vital to our national defense and will shape Department of Defense operations for the next 30 years. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain software across the full development lifecycle. Collaborate with Product Owners to analyze and translate customer requirements into software design. Develop, maintain, and optimize software products and system integration functionalities. Document and maintain software architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs. Debug and resolve software issues to ensure performance and reliability. Troubleshoot technical challenges and support continuous process improvement. Basic Qualifications: Active Secret Clearance Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in software development. Proficiency in C# and .NET . Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git, Bitbucket). Experience working in Agile environments, including large-scale “team of teams” Agile frameworks. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with software development patterns: microservices , REST APIs , Mono Repos , Mono DBs , and Single Page Applications (SPA) . Experience in system architecture, requirements definition, and software testing. Proficiency with TypeScript , ReactJS , and Redux . Experience with Mission Planning Systems or defense-related software development. Additional Requirements: An ACTIVE U.S. Government Security Clearance is Required to be considered for this role .
