Position Overview The Senior Account Manager plays a key leadership role, ensuring high-quality catering delivery, building strong client relationships, and identifying growth opportunities. This position oversees key accounts, collaborates with teams to deliver tailored solutions, and supports operational and business growth, specifically in the Bay Area. Work Location At the San Francisco International Airport facility. How You'll Elevate Our Team Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts, acting as the primary liaison between the CSC and airline. Lead and document local customer meetings, ensuring alignment on expectations and performance. Resolve customer disputes collaboratively with the Central Account Team. Support special projects as needed. Organize menu presentations, Chef Tables, and Virtual Quality Checks with the Executive Chef. Manage airline contracts locally, ensuring compliance with all terms. Ensure adherence to customer specifications and communicate updates to relevant departments. Coordinate with Finance to manage budget deviations. Monitor compliance with safety and regulatory policies (FDA, USDA, TSA, etc.) with the Quality Manager. Participate in customer evaluations and audits, managing feedback and responses. Track and improve key performance metrics like sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Oversee databases for flight attendant comments and delay tracking. Drive initiatives to enhance customer service and track cost savings. Develop tailored catering solutions and present them to clients. Prepare reports and presentations on customer insights and performance. Maintain proficiency in customer IT systems for data management. Oversee charter catering operations. Ensure the account management team is well-organized and effective. Guide and develop team members per HR policies. Implement company values and management principles. Manage the budget and initiate corrective actions when necessary. Support initiatives like GQS, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, and safety programs. Candidate Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 7-10 years of experience as a strategic account manager and relationship builder. Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to meet customer expectations. Understanding of product and labor cost drivers. Knowledge of financial concepts. Experience in contract management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows applications.
