The Role The Strategic Account Manager will identify and pursue business growth in the pulp & paper industry, focusing on securing maintenance contracts for mechanical, piping, and ISP services. Responsibilities include client engagement, market research, developing growth and capture plans, and maintaining relationships at all client levels. The role involves working with operations teams to expand revenue and collaborating across business units. Key Duties Conduct market research and analysis on relevant service lines. Support marketing with client-specific event planning. Assist in business development planning aligned with budgets. Lead sales activities and report using Salesforce. Develop industry, competitor, and client reports. Create presentations and marketing materials for target clients. Support proposal development and client requests. Collaborate with departments and global groups to differentiate Bilfinger. Assist with management reports and special projects. Ensure safety compliance. Requirements 5-7 years’ experience in maintenance, mechanical, construction, or ISP services. 3-5 years’ experience with service agreements and contract negotiations. Proven leadership skills. Ability to work independently and in teams to meet deadlines. Willingness to travel routinely. Experience developing client presentations and value propositions for RFPs/RFQs. Technical Skills Knowledge of construction and maintenance in oil, gas, or chemical industries. Proficiency in Salesforce, Power BI, and IIR. Experience in developing business proposals and negotiating contracts. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Qualifications Experience with Salesforce, Power BI, and IIR preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Skills Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
