Job Posting: Supply Chain Specialist

About the Role

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Specialist to join our client's Distribution team. This role is responsible for planning, forecasting, and coordinating the inbound and outbound flow of raw materials. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate inventory management and collaborate cross-functionally to support production scheduling and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments via ocean, air, rail, and truck freight.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and ERP updates.
• Analyze MRP reports and sales forecasts to develop procurement plans.
• Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Sales, Customer Service, and Production teams.
• Manage safety stock levels and warehouse space utilization.
• Conduct root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain relationships with freight forwarders and negotiate logistics pricing.
• Support quality compliance and documentation related to inventory and materials.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in supply chain or related field.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Access or similar databases.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
