Business Integra Inc is seeking a travel nurse RN Infusion for a travel nursing job in Duarte, California.

Position Title: Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Clinic

Location: Duarte, CA 91010

 

 

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years in an infusion center and outpatient oncology setting; 3 years preferred
• Proficient in:
  • Chemotherapy administration (IV push, continuous infusion, oral)
  • Handling and disposal of cytotoxic agents
  • Port access and care
  • Central line and PICC line management
  • Infusion pump operation
  • IV initiation and hydration therapy
  • Management of adverse reactions (e.g., anaphylaxis, extravasation)
  • Monitoring and interpreting lab values
  • Patient and family education
  • Managing side effects such as nausea, neuropathy, and mucositis

 

Certifications Required:

• ONS Chemotherapy Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (AHA only; HeartCode not accepted)

Schedule:

• Day shifts (specific hours not specified)
• Weekend shifts and floating to other units as required
• No on-call responsibilities

Vaccination Requirements:

• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Influenza vaccination required (medical exemptions accepted)
