Base pay range $65.00/hr - $85.00/hr Role Responsibilities Support Platform Operations by administering Windows server infrastructure on-premises and in cloud environments (Azure or AWS). Analyze, log, track, and resolve software/hardware issues related to server operating systems and services. Manage Windows Server ticket queue, resolve issues, and provide 1st and 2nd level support for all Windows server platforms and applications. Proactively tune servers and monitor performance using tools like SCOM, Splunk, and OBM. Identify and repair inconsistent Windows server configurations, including drift configurations on Citrix and VMware systems. Standardize and automate systems, tasks, and workflows using PowerShell. Participate in infrastructure project design, implementation, and disaster recovery exercises. Generate reports for daily checks, real-time monitoring, and capacity management to support infrastructure needs. Operate within an Agile framework, providing regular updates on project progress. Document all processes and ensure their consistent application across the global Windows server landscape. Provide weekend support on a rotational basis. Respond promptly to escalated support requests. Ensure Windows servers are regularly updated with security patches and that all security measures are compliant with company standards. Experience Advanced experience administering Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022), with proficiency in Active Directory, SharePoint, and MS Exchange. Expertise in VMware (ESXi, vCenter, vSphere, vSAN, TKGI), with a solid understanding of virtualization concepts like resource allocation, high availability, load balancing, storage, and networking. Strong expertise in Citrix technologies (VDI, XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler, DaaS), including Citrix Provisioning Services, Machine Creation Services, and Citrix Cloud. Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD, and Office 365 administration, including user/group management, security, compliance, and identity/access management. Proficiency in DNS, DFS, DHCP, IIS, NTFS, Group Policy, Remote Desktop Services, Print Services, and strong knowledge of TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, and load balancing. Experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud infrastructure management. Strong scripting skills in PowerShell or Python for automation, with experience in Agile project management. Knowledge of cloud platforms, especially Azure and AWS. Strong understanding of security principles, including patch deployment and troubleshooting. Experience managing HP and DELL server hardware, including rack-mounted and blade servers. Knowledge of tools like BigFix, SCCM, SCOM, FACSys, Canon SecurePrint (UniFlow), and CyberArk.
