The Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa Ob/Gyn service is recruiting a second MFM Physician to join the current MFM in expanding our service. The MFM section supports a 26-physician group of Ob/Gyn Physicians. The Santa Rosa Kaiser Hospital performs approximately 2000 deliveries/year, with a level 2 NICU (Intermediate Nursery). We serve as a referral center for all of Sonoma County, northern Marin County, and Napa County.
Santa Rosa, CA is in beautiful Sonoma County in the heart of the wine country of Northern California. In addition to having wonderful weather, we are an hour north of San Francisco, 30 minutes from the Pacific Coast, 4 hrs from skiing in Lake Tahoe and 3 hrs from the beautiful Redwoods State Parks.
Position Details:
Hospital care: There is a small antepartum service, with the IMN caring for infants over 34 weeks gestation, with plans to expand to 32 weeks in the future.
MFM will provide in-person hospital consults during weekday hours, with follow up rounds based on patient acuity. The on-call obstetrician is responsible for primary care, orders, and deliveries. In-person after hours work (consult, cerclage, amnio) as required when on call (rare) 24/7 availability for phone consultation when on call Outpatient clinic: is a consultative clinic with no prenatal care clinic. We work collaboratively with OBGYN providers, medical sub-specialists and genetics in caring for these patients. Our recommendations are carried out by the general OBGYN provider throughout the pregnancy.
Prenatal Diagnostic Clinic (Ultrasound): included level 1 and level 2 anatomy evaluations, follow up (growth, placenta previa) and cervical length. Procedures include amniocentesis and multifetal reduction. CVS possible thru collaboration with San Francisco.

Full-time annual salary range is $485,039 to $500,040 plus additional potential incentives up to $30,800*. Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may be available. *Some incentive opportunities are estimates based on potential premium pay.
