No VP Area U of U Health - Academics Department 01471 - SOM Curriculum Location Campus City Salt Lake City, UT Type of Recruitment External Posting Pay Rate Range $19.50/hourly Close Date 05/20/2025 Job Summary Under direction, ensures the academic integrity of standardized testing conditions and security of test materials for exams administered to medical students. Responsibilities Check examinees into the testing center Confirm that all examinees are seated in appropriate seats Assist in distributing, collecting, and maintaining test materials and testing environment Monitor and maintain constant surveillance of test materials and testing environment Ensure that all test rules and procedures are followed Continually observe that examinees are not exchanging information or engaging in any other irregular behavior Ensure there is no talking or cheating during examinations Prevent or minimize any disturbances to examinees during the examination Troubleshoot minor technical issues Escort examinees on all personal breaks taken during the examination Minimum Qualifications Reliability and punctuality are a must. Availability early mornings and afternoons on weekdays. Ability to troubleshoot issues associated with the Apple iPad and related software. If already employed with the University of Utah, must be working only 15 hours per week or less.
