About the Role We’re hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer (PE) on behalf of our client, a respected MEP engineering and consulting firm based in Baltimore, MD . This role is ideal for someone who is technically sharp, experienced in complex building systems, and thrives in a leadership role within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage mechanical system design for high-performance facilities including hospitals, data centers, and government-secure buildings. Produce mechanical construction documents: system load calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. Oversee HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system design in coordination with architectural and engineering teams. Guide conceptual system design in partnership with clients and support the design process through construction documentation. Conduct field inspections, troubleshoot installation issues, and support project delivery with quality and budget in mind. What We’re Looking For 8–20 years of experience in mechanical system design for buildings Proven expertise in HVAC, central plants, chilled/hot water systems, ventilation, and plumbing system design Excellent leadership, technical, and communication skills Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and an active PE license in Maryland Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit and BIM workflows preferred U.S. citizenship and valid driver’s license (required for federal project work) Why Work With Us?
