Position Title: Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift

Wage: $31.00 - $36.00/hour

Shift: 3rd

Hours: 10:00pm – 6:00am (Sunday – Thursday)

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Maintenance Technician at a company in De Pere, WI. This is a direct hire position for 3rd shift. Apply now!

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Work safely and follow related policies and programs to ensure safe working environment
- Read blueprints, diagrams, electrical schematic and hydraulic drawings to determine work requirements
- Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment such as pumps, fans, tanks and conveyors according to layout plans using hand and power tools
- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions
- Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Adjust machinery and troubleshoot defective parts
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices, such as cranes, jacks and forklifts, to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance/preventative work on machinery

Requirements for Maintenance Technician:
- Knowledge of AC/DC wiring methods, AC/DC drives/motors/ VFD's and servo motors
- Knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, B&R, Beckhoff)
- Understanding of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems (bearing, alignment, chains, belts)
- Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery
- Design and fabricating is a plus
- Mill and Lathe experience is a plus
- Fanuc/Robot experience is a plus
- Experience using a CMMS system
